There’s something for everyone at KAPA’A MISSIONARY CHURCH, from dynamic kids’s and youth services, to inspiring worship, to opportunities to make a difference in KAUAI and around the world.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

Akua Keiki meets the first three Wednesday evenings of every month at the church from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Akua Keiki is for children from 1st-5th grades. There is a small meal beforehand and then a time of learning Bible lessons and crafts.

Children’s Sunday School meets during the regular worship time at 9 a.m. and is for children from 1st-5th grades. They start off in the Ohana room in the educational building and then move to their Sunday school classes.

Our Nursery and Toddler ministry meets on Sunday mornings during the worship time on the first floor of the educational building.

At Kapaa we take the safety and welfare of your children as our utmost priority. Our trained volunteers go through background checks to ensure both your peace of mind as well as their safety.

YOUTH MINISTRY

Our youth meet from 6:30-8:00 p.m. every Wednesday evening at the church. This is a time of fun, fellowship, and learning more about the Bible.

SERVING

We have a wide variety of ways in which you can get involved at Kapaa by using your unique gifts to serve others.

OUTREACH

FOOD PANTRY: Grocery boxes are distributed every Saturday at 5 p.m. Although the boxes are already packed, there is a need for volunteers to help pass out boxes on Sunday evenings. If you have any questions or want to find out more please contact the church office at (808) 822-5594.

CLOTHING CLOSET: We give away clothing every second & fourth Saturday at 4:30 p.m. here at the church.  All clothes are donated and volunteers sort, fold and organize items for give-away.

SOUP KITCHEN: A hot meal is served on the 2nd/4th Saturday of each month from 5-5:30 p.m. for those in need. If you have any questions or want to find out more please contact the church office at (808) 822-5594.

MAHELONA HOSPITAL: This ministry brings church to the patients at Mahelona Hospital. They meet twice a month on the 1st/3rd Thursday of each month at 9:30 a.m. If you have any questions or want to find out more please contact the church office at (808) 822-5594.


OHANA GROUPS

Our ‘Ohana groups meet on various days of the week on a variety of topics. If you are looking for a group to connect with or have any questions, please feel free to contact the church office at (808) 822-5594

YOUNG ADULTS: Meet the 2nd/4th Sunday of the month in the church Ohana room. A potluck starts at 5 p.m. and the Bible study follows at 6 p.m.

REVELATION STUDY: This group meets the third Sunday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at the church.

PATHWAY TO CHRISTIAN MATURITY: The church offers several opportunities for those who are interested in finding out more about faith or simply to grow more in their faith. These groups meet at various times on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Please contact the church office for more details on times and locations.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDIES: There are two groups of women that meet at the church for Bible studies. The first meets every Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. in the church conference room. The other have various meeting times based on availability.

MEN’S GROUP: The first Saturday of every month there is a gathering of me that meet at the church. Breakfast starts at 8:30 a.m. and there is a time of prayer and study afterward.

The Young Adults and Family Ministry involves building relationships, growing together through studying God’s Word, encouraging one another through the challenges of life, learning to commit wisely to our true priorities, and supporting those who step up to serve.
